WINEMAKING/MATURING: Work in the vineyard starts in the late autumn, with winter pruning. The method used is the traditional “mixed Guyot” system. Leaf-culling is concentrated around the grapes to allow them to attain optimum maturity and benefit fully from the sunshine. All the viticultural work is aimed at controlling yields and producing quality grapes. The harvest in, they focus their efforts on the winemaking, using traditional methods while also incorporating modern œnological know-how. The ageing process, which takes place in temperature-controlled vats, is carefully and thoroughly monitored. In close collaboration with their œnologist, they select the best blend from all the vats to obtain the best-balanced, most harmonious wine.

TASTING NOTES: The result of a legendary vintage in Bordeaux, the wine is a deep garnet hue, offering a generous bouquet of blackcurrant and blackberry. Harvested at full maturity, the Merlot provides a chewy yet silky structure.
