Who we are
It all started with the idea of 2 cousins, Costas Constantinou and Andreas Kyprianou, both passionate and knowledgeable about wine.Strong of 20 years of experience in the hospitably industry- both in Cyprus and in the USA Andreas and Costas understood there was an opportunity to educate the Cypriot market about wine and created Vino Cultura in 2006. From a humble wine shop or “cava”, the business has grown into a full-fledged platform, serving both individuals and professionals with the same dedication and professionalism, through its restaurants, its retail and wholesale businesses, while remaining a family business.
'TeΘys Wines’ is a new and very aspiring project that focuses on Cyprus indigenous varieties. The focus is on single vineyard wines from the Krasohoria and Pitsilia region. 2019 was the first vintage from an old family vineyard located in the Trimiklini Village, in the Limnakra area. For the 2020 vintage we have three different vilifications from Xynisteri, two from the same vineyard in Trimiklini and one from a high altitude vineyard in Farmakas village in the Pitsilia region.

Andreas Kyprianou is currently the first and only Cypriot who was invited to take the Master Sommelier examination at the Court of Master Sommeliers, the most acknowledged international organization providing training, education and certification to the WORLD’S BEST SOMMELIERS. He also has the title of the BEST Sommelier of Cyprus for 2018/20. He represents Cyprus in the ASI Contest of the Best Sommelier of the World. He ranked number 21 during the latest competition.
