Volcanic Slopes Vineyards winery produces exclusively a single wine called ‘Pure’. Pure is the realized dream of two men, Manolis Chloridis and Matthew Argyros, set out to create a wine dedicated to the pursuit of uncompromising quality. Manolis’ exceptional vineyard combined with Matthew’s wine making skills reflect on every bottle of Pure Santorini. A single sip is able to give you a tour around Santorini’s volcanic terroir and introduce you to a new world of pure, timeless elegance.
Light color with green hues. Aromas of fresh lime, green apple, notes of pear and apricot, and a hint of thyme and rosemary. Full-bodied wine, with sharp acidity and the distinctive minerality of Santorini’s Assyrtiko wines, followed by long aftertaste.
Ideal serving temperature between 12-14 °C. Decanting is necessary in order for the wine’s full character to unfold.
It matches perfectly with oysters, sushi, ceviche and fatty fish such as salmon and tuna.
