The Mediterranean variety Mattaro and the indigenous variety Yiannoudi are very well acclimatized to Cyprus warm summers and together produce an elegant medium bodied red wine. Yiannoudi is one of the upcoming local varieties of Cyprus. We have planted 2 vineyards in Agios Amvrosios and Agios Nikoloas, which will be coming of age in the next few years and provide the grapes for this promising blend.
The fruity aroma, the balanced acidity and the soft tannins of this wine make it ideal for hot days and nights. Enjoy this wine as an aperitif, with white meat or pasta.
