This wine has been gently crafted using a natural approach to winemaking. A seductive bouquet comprising perfumed, ripe cherries, red fruit and enticing floral aromas, it is concentrated and displays deep layers of fruit.
TASTING NOTES: This 2014 Seddon Pinot Noir has fresh floral, perfume and red raspberry aromas. On the palate, the velvety texture, fine acidity and delicate fine-grained tannins deliver an elegant wine with subtle power and great length.
The Seddon vineyard terrace has a silty loam soil contributing the intensely perfumed aromatics. Spring of 2013 was bountiful, therefore careful attention to yield restrictions was applied to maintain a perfectly balanced vineyard. The 2014 summer was warm and dry allowing tannins to fully ripen, all fruit for this wine was harvested in March before the autumn rains.
