Pauline’s Cuvee is a rich Napa Valley blend of mostly merlot and cabernet franc with a pinch of cabernet sauvignon with a nod to Bordeaux’s Right Bank. The fruit is mix of Stagecoach, Atlas Peak and Coombsville vineyards. The nose is a mix of sweet spices and oak all in a commensurate amount for the depth of fruit. The palate is awash in black cherry, cola and spicy resiny flavours. Dry and showing some restraint this should be an excellent bottle in three to five years. Drink now with grilled meats.
