Two romantics, a winemaker and a historian, immersed themselves in time to evoke a time when European immigrants, newly arrived in Argentina, strove to make wines as fine as those from their homelands. By 1936, Malbec and Petit Verdot were the most widely planted strains in Argentina and the cut of both was considered the best in terms of elegance and guard potential. Alejandro Vigil and Adrianna Catena teamed up to create their emblematic wine: El Enemigo. It is a wine of great structure and concentration, which brings historical and artisanal aspects of the cultivation of the vines and their vinification. The winery is located in the foothills of Mendoza to the south of the Andes Mountains.
