A perfumed bouquet of red cherry and forest berry fruits with subtle dried herb notes. The wine has understated concentration and refined purity displaying excellent palate length, integrated acidity and fine grainy tannins.
Matches well with variety of dishes, including New Zealand lamb, duck confit or smoked salmon.

The fruit for this wine originates from two organically certified vineyards, Villa Maria Templar vineyard located in the Awatere valley and Villa Maria Finlayson vineyard in Wairau valley, in the Marlborough region. Both vineyards have
been organically farmed since 2009.
